Tie your shoelaces, baby, and run for a sustainable solution.
Because frankly, the world needs more heroes and who else but us can provide innovative solutions to our problems.
This year, Eco-Dash is committing to raise funds for the first bottle school in the Visayas. The beneficiary of the bottle school would be The School of the Seas, a school that teaches the experiential learning on taking care of the seas in Sta. Fe, Bantayan.
As you register at designated establishments/venues, please bring at least 2 plastic bottles (1.5 or 2 Liters). These bottles and your registration fee would go a very long way to answer the need for additional schools for our children. In case you have more than a caseload or even just a few of these bottles yet opt not to run for whatever reason, you may also ask a friend to bring these to the venue. That way, you can still participate.
The Ayala Center Cebu, one of the main sponsors, will be giving away raffle prizes for everyone:
- 20 tickets for the Pacquiao-Margarito Fight
- 2 digicams and timex watch for 10K runners
- 2 Ipod Shuffles for 5K runners
- 2 GCs from The Spa at Cebu for 3K runners
I can’t promise that I’ll be joining but I’m going to collect bottles in the mean time. 🙂

INSIDER INFO: The celebrated social entrepreneur Mr. Illac Diaz will be running for the 10k event. Who knows you’d get to rub elbows with him there? 😉
