Punch Drunk Panda’s KOMIKS Plimsolls

I am no stranger to budget travel. Heck, all my travels get planned months in advance so I could save up for those. And mind you, I almost always stick to the budget plan as funds are limited (aren’t they always? *wink) But with my recent trip (details in my next few post) and owing to my recent birthday, I decided to splurge on a new pair of Plimsolls from Punchdrunk Panda.

So what’s so special about this particular pair?

Well, not only is it comfy, it’s also super darn cute. Made from canvas print and manufactured in the Philippines, these plimsolls capture the essence of city walking by marrying style and function. The KOMIKS Plimsolls pay “homage to superheroes and vintage Pinoy komiks” and features “a collage of the artistโ€™s signature style.” Who wouldn’t take a second look at these beauties? I’ll be sure to fend off huge crowds hoping to ask questions about where I got them.๐Ÿ˜€

But what got me sold (aside from yes, the super cute merchandise) was their efficient customer service. You see, I placed my order on a Friday. Minutes after, I got an email from Ms. Nica informing me that they had a pair in my size. And when I told her that I would like to have the shoes by Thursday in time for my trip, she told me that they would be able to do it if I could pay on time. Which I was able to do at 5 PM on the same day (Friday) and they were able to have my merch picked up early morning Saturday for delivery. That’s why I got my shoes on the following Tuesday. Really cool. I really appreciate it when the seller goes out of his/her way to satisfy their clients.๐Ÿ™‚

NOTE: This product got test driven by The Traveling Reader in Singapore. Will post pics and my review soon.๐Ÿ™‚
