Introducing Karina from Nocturnal Book Reviews

Hi, dear readers! 🙂

I’m sure you enjoyed Cover Cravings #5: The Redheads Invasion (getting ready to color your hair auburn?), the guest post that Karina from Nocturnal Book Reviews did recently. But of course, the fun doesn’t stop there. No one’s a party pooper here. Hehe

So here’s the lowdown on one of the friendliest bloggers I’ve ever had the pleasure of *meeting*. Read on to find out more about this UK-based Russian blogger.

KARINA: I’ve been blogging in Russian for years, but recently one of my favorite bloggers – Rebecca at Dirty, Sexy Books stopped blogging, and few of her fans, me included, decided that we need to keep carrying the torch. 🙂
So I’ve started a bilingual blog.

KARINA: My blog is a tiny baby; I started it in the beginning of May. “Nocturnal” simply because most of my reviews I write at night (as a proper night owl).

KARINA: I love receiving comments. It means people like my stuff enough to bother to comment. I’m not there yet with the frustration part. 🙂

KARINA: Urban fantasy, and if the book is good enough then paranormal romance, historical romance, steampunk, fantasy, sci-fi and YA.

KARINA: No such thing. I love too many of them to choose one.

KARINA: Again, too many. Lilith Saintcrow and Ilona Andrews come to mind. There are one of the best authors in urban fantasy.

KARINA: Any good book will do that to you. A bad book is the one you can’t say anything about, the one that left you untouched. Last book I’ve read and wanted to swear in frustration and kick something was Etched in Bone by Adrian Phoenix. I loved it, but the end made me want to read the next one immediately, and it’s not possible.

KARINA: Kate Daniels from Ilona Andrews books.
a) she is funny as hell
b) she is a total kick-ass heroine
c) her partner is a) and b)
d) she is of Russian heritage
